Interstate Pole Buildings is a Partnership of men in Southern Missouri with an eye for detail and a heart for providing more than just another quality pole barn. Our foundational goal is to treat each customer as we would like to be treated. We see each project as an opportunity to build another friendship with our clients. We have strong relationships in the community that all started with taking time to listen and ask questions. Our customers want to be respected and have their ideas listened to. We have found that taking the time at the beginning of the project to discuss and plan makes a big difference in the final building package.

Humble Beginnings

Interstate Pole Buildings had its humble beginnings back in 1991 when Paul Miller began the business. He hired several local fellows to form a crew. Darrell Knepp started working for Interstate Pole Barns in 1996 and worked there until 2003. Darrell then pulled out and started a cabinet shop along with some sideline woodworking projects. Interstate Pole Buildings had a change of hands during the years when Darrell was running his cabinet shop. In 2012, Interstate Pole Buildings came up for sale again after the owner decided to move to another community. Darrell and several of the current crew decided to go into partnership in 2012 and purchased the business.

From Ideas to Completion

Although the business had several different owners in its past it has always been a great business building pole barns for many different needs. The business has branched out into building commercial buildings and large storage building complexes. From small projects to large ones Interstate Pole Buildings will work with you to take your ideas from dreams to a quality structure that you can be proud of and will last for many years.
